Greetings


世界のアートの中心都市ニューヨーク。
そこでは、世界各国から明日を夢見る多くのアーティストたちがしのぎを削りあっています。彼らは、ただひたすらに己自身のアートと作品を生み出すことの意味を問いつづけながら、懸命に創作活動に勤しんでいます。苦しい葛藤の日々。それは彼らの果てしなき夢へと続く道でもあるのです。
この度、そのようなNYを拠点に活動している作家とその作品を紹介することを趣旨とし、グループ展　「Ｂｅｙｏｎｄ Ｎｅｗ Ｙｏｒｋ ｉｎ Ｔｏｋｙｏ」を開催する運びとなりました。選抜された２０名の作家は、各々、作品のスタイル、表現手段は異なりますが、どの作品も意欲的な作品ばかりです。この展覧会をきっかけとし、世界から集ったNYの作家たちの真なる姿を知っていただくと共に、彼らの作品に宿る力強い息吹に触れていただければ幸いです。

New York, center of world's art.
Artists, dreaming of tomorrow, from various countries are inspiring each other there. They are working hard in the creation of artworks while only questioning the meaning of giving birth to ones art. Days of conflicts. That is also their road to their infinite dream.
With the intent of introducing artworks and the artists, who are based and active in New York, we present the group show 「Beyond New York in Tokyo」. The 20 selected artists vary in their work style and ways of expression, but each piece is passionate work of art. With this exhibition we hope that NY artists', assembled from around world, genuine posture is familiarized and their strong passion is felt in their creations.
